Como Kids now 1-1

The Midwest team (the Como Kids) topped the New Englanders (Team Chowder) 14-5 today in the Little League World Series. The game was rescheduled from the night before and played in front of 9,338 people at Little League Volunteer Stadium in Williamsport, PA. Landon Clapp led the charge for the Como Kids on both sides of the ball, going 3-3 with three triples, two RBIs and also getting the win on the mound. All of the teams in USA Pool B are currently 1-1 in pool play.

Team Columbia will play again Monday (8/21) at 7 pm CST on ESPN 2. Ryan Phillips, the #1 starter takes the mound for the hometown team in the last game of pool play. The top 2 teams from the two US pools advance to the US Semifinals.
